Murphy's Law (the First Law) casts a dark shadow on the Murphy name. "Whatever can go wrong, will go wrong." The Second Murphy Law is actually a deep secret. If the secret gets out it would disrupt the balance of the universe. Hence Murphys take all the ribbing for the first law to help distract anyone from wanting to learn the second law. The little known third law used to just be Murphy's Theory until recently. In the depths of this blog you will discover it’s truly an important law.

More Bike Riding - Happy as Christmas
I got to ride a (new-to-me) trail with Derek Joyce near Shreveport (some apparently call it the Monkey Trail). It was incredible! Kind of kicked my tail a little bit, but it was absolutely incredible fun. It is a great trail with lots of technical stuff, and some good climbs, but not many jumps. I was also glad to just visit with a great friend!

Philippians 2:5-11
Changing of position and status. I find it pretty humbling that when God referred to making Jesus worth nothing he was referring to making him in the form of a human being. So Jesus first change of position was while being in very nature God, lowered himself to nothing. Then as if that wasn't enough, He humbled himself even further and became obedient to death. To save (you and me) humanity - who unreconciled to God is worthless. But something is worth what someone is willing to pay for it. "God takes everything, who is Christ, to buy nothing, so that nothing could be worth everything in Christ." -Elliott Greene. So I guess, without Christ I am worthless, but in Christ... Oh I guarantee, that my tongue will join with every other tongue acknowledging that Jesus Christ is Lord, for I have been made worth Someone.

Been A long time
Well, I know I should probably be ashamed, since I am the Media Director of a church, but I just figured out how to connect my blog to Facebook! So Now I can Just blog and broadcast all my (sometimes useless) ramblings. Maybe just maybe technology won't be a time vacuum part of my life.
