Murphy's Law (the First Law) casts a dark shadow on the Murphy name. "Whatever can go wrong, will go wrong." The Second Murphy Law is actually a deep secret. If the secret gets out it would disrupt the balance of the universe. Hence Murphys take all the ribbing for the first law to help distract anyone from wanting to learn the second law. Ethan saves the snails
After our first rain in what seems like a long while, the snails came climbing out of the ground, and Ethan started collecting them to save them from drowning.
